Glass Heart - Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff

Glass Heart's Weathered EP Launch took place at the intimate venue of Fuel Rock club in Cardiff and what a venue it is!

To kick the evening off, De'Lour, a five-piece band from South Wales took to the stage with some head banging tunes, a mesmerising vocal perfomance in combination with awesome guitar, bass and drums (with some wicked facial expressions) really got the audience geared up and ready to rock the night away. Their catalogue includes 12MNTHSX12SNGS and most recently 'Now I Understand', now this is one you certainly need on full blast! They have described their music as 'sad songs' but they certainly help you connect to the music and release those emotions by singing along and hair flippin' along too with some exceptional use of instruments combined with relatable lyrics. The five-piece consists of Aaron Roberts (vocals), Tom Williams (drums), Aled Davies (guitar), Mark Llewellyn (guitar) and Ivan Ristic (bass) who formed during lockdown and wow, I sure can't wait to see where these guys go developing their musical artistry.

Your Misery, another insanely talented group of lads continued to feed the crowd with a powerhouse of music. These guys are a post-hardcore band hailing from London who really gel alongside De'Lour and the great Glass Heart. Be ready to sing, to scream and certainly to get that moshing going in the pit with these guys, what a band! There may be 'No Hope' in the lyrics of their debut single, but there is certainly hope in the awesome career ahead of these guys if their latest single 'When I Am Not' is anything to go by. This young band is headed for great things, their set during the evening really gets your head bopping, wanting to quickly learn the lyrics to sing and scream along. Be sure to give them a follow to keep up with their antics and awesome music.

They're finally here, its only Glass Heart coming to the stage for their Weathered EP Launch show and wow! These guys really are heart-throbbingly entertaining and epic performers! Performing their entire back catalogue, including the recent 'Rain' really makes you want to pour your heart out into the song, the lyrics really resonate with you and the pain of grief, in a constructive outlet via the medium of this latest single from the band. From 'Another Day', to 'Loved & Lost' and more recently 'Right from the start' among the epic band's archive, Adam (vocalist) really knows how to connect and charm the audience through his exceptional vocals and dazzling demeanour that really makes you forget everything else except the music and atmosphere. The combined skillset of Adam Williams (vocals), Nathan James (guitar), Sam Gibbs (drums) and Jake Bowen (bass/vocals) adds that next level head-rockin, mosh-pit, musical delight for the soul. It has to be said that the screamo vibes that Jake adds to the mix really is something to behold whilst ripping up the bass and really flipping a great head of hair too! The range of expressions from Nathan will certainly get you smiling, the joy of seeing someone really love what they do exudes from such an artistic individual. Not to mention the adept drummer that is Sam Gibbs, I certainly couldn't help but smile in admiration at the expertise and dexterity he displayed. These four lads are certainly going to be on your playlist after you've seen them perform if they aren't already, with Adam jumping right into the crowd, riling up the mosh pit himself! Wow seems an understatement for these guys, so go give them a listen, go see them perform live or better yet do both, you'll soon see how infectiously awesome they are!
