An amazing rock band from South Wales, UK, Dream State finish their Untethered tour in Birmingham at the O2 Academy3 on Monday 27th February 2023 in style. Joining Dream State on tour, Led By Lanterns and Overthrone who certainly hype the crowd up ready for an insanely dynamic night full of head-banging tracks. Both support bands raise the bar high from the very beginning, bringing charming smiles and hair-flipping riffs that will leave you finding yourself hitting that follow and stream button straight away. Jumping over the photo pit, every band connects with the fans, standing on the barrier, fans singing their hearts out alongside them and a sight of pure joy. Overthrone, a UK Metalcore outfit who recently released their sophomore album 'The Path of Destruction' in 2022 who are certainly a group of lads who really know how to raise the roof. A special venue for Led By Lanterns, this is one venue they first played together as a band, grinning from ear to ear, the boys enlist the help of the crowd to sing "Happy Birthday" to a crew member, Snake, before asking the fans if they have enough energy for one more song. The crowd roar back, cheering for one more song and lapping up every word from every song from both the opening support band Overthrone and Led By Lanterns the entire evening so far.

A slightly longer break in between Led By Lanterns finishing their set and Dream State ripping up the stage, the crowd begin to begin to cheer, indicating their anticipation for the quartet to come on stage, ready to rock the night away. Cheering, feet-stomping and clapping greet the band as they come out to the fans, ready to perform on this final night of the tour.

Early on between songs, Jessie (lead vocals) announces the recent addition of herself and bassist Jake to the band alongside Tom (drums) and Aled (guitar) as the fans chant the bands name in response. Showcasing some seriously epic dance moves as well as her diverse vocal skills, Jessie has such a warm connection with the crowd and is an epic front-woman for this band. At times jumping to sit on the barrier, getting the crowd to join in if they know the lyrics to full on drag the mic along with her right into the middle of the floor where the fans are star-struck and form a circle around her as she belts out songs including 'Comfort In Chaos', 'Monster's' and 'Primrose' just to name a few.

A feast of talent to the senses, Jessie crowd-surfs (still singing of course!), Jake and Aled provide extra vocals with a side of high energy hair-flips and bass/guitar riff shredding to the max. Tireless and intense rock all evening, Tom on drums does not let up either, drumsticks effortlessly dancing around the kit, drawing you in as you can not help but smile and appreciate the skill needed to play the drums.
